What is Bespoke Stationery?
Wedding stationery is an important part of your wedding, as it sets the tone and helps with the overall organisation. You want to get your guests excited for your big day and a gorgeous wedding invitation will do just that!
1) What is bespoke stationery?
Bespoke stationery is perfect if you have a particular idea in mind or would like something to tie in with the theme of your wedding. It's a one-of-a-kind design, created just for you!
2) Who is the designer?
I work on all the bespoke orders. I'm the Owner of Roco & Miley, a self-taught fine artist and an experienced graphic designer. I'm very passionate about what I do and you can guarantee your stationery is in good hands!
2) How do I enquire?
The best way to enquire about custom work is through the online form on our website. Once I’ve received your enquiry for custom work, I will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your idea further.
3) How much does it cost?
The cost for bespoke work will vary depending on the level of detail going into your design. After I've received your enquiry, I will prepare a quote based on your design preferences, quantities and desired items.
4) What is the lead time?
Waiting time for custom work will depend on my availability, but is usually started within 4-6 weeks after I've contacted you to discuss your design and collect all the information I need. During busy periods, this may extend to 8-10 weeks.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your design date(s), and the other 50% is due when you're happy to send everything to print.
After you pay your deposit, I will let you know the exact date I'll be working on your design.
Please keep in mind that nothing will ever go to print unless you're completely happy with the look.
5) Will I receive a proof?
Yes, after I've finished your design, I will email you a proof for your approval and you can suggest any changes you would like. Please try and list these changes in one email if possible, as it may take a few days for you to receive your updated proof.
6) How long does printing and postage take?
Once your designs have been sent to print, they will be ready to ship within 5-10 working days or 2-3 weeks for foil. Each order is carefully inspected before shipping to ensure the finished look is perfect!
Delivery to the UK takes 2 working days and International is 3-5 working days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email and a tracking number for your parcel.
If you live close to the shop, you can collect your stationery for free from Born & Bred, 60 Ann Street, Belfast (opposite Urban Outfitters). We will notify you via phone or email when these are ready to collect.
7) What advice would you give couples when considering wedding stationery?
I understand that ordering stationery can be a little overwhelming, especially when there are so many designs ideas, products and quantities to think about. Therefore, I’ve listed a few steps below to help with your planning!
Firstly, you don’t need to order everything at once, so focus on the ‘before the day’ stationery first and decide if you need Day Invitations, Evening Invitations, RSVP cards or Enclosure cards.
Secondly, work out the quantity needed for each item and keep in mind that couples count as one.
Finally, Think about the style of design you would like. Would you both like something plain and traditional or something more modern and colourful? Check out websites like Pinterest for ideas and inspiration. After a little thought and research, you’ll soon decide on a design you both love!
