Roco and Miley painting

Sinead O'Toole

Roco & Miley started in 2015 when I made wedding invitations for a friend. I put them on social media afterwards, not thinking much of it, and they got a much bigger response than I expected. At the time, illustrated and colourful wedding stationery wasn’t as common, so it stood out in a way I didn’t really anticipate.

That led me to set up an online shop, and things grew from there as more couples wanted stationery that felt personal and a bit more expressive. Since then, I’ve designed thousands of wedding stationery suites for couples all over the world.

Alongside stationery, I also take on a small number of commissioned artworks, mainly buildings and landscapes, which I’ve always enjoyed drawing.

I’m a self-taught artist, and Roco & Miley has just grown alongside me over the years. Before this, I worked in web development, which probably explains why I care highly about structure, tiny details, and how things are put together. And it’s still evolving.

Previous Studios and Exhibitions

Starting with just a handful of cards, Roco & Miley has grown over the years, thanks to our incredible customers. This has allowed us to proudly showcase our work at exhibitions and establish private studios, including a four year shop space on the High Street in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In early 2023, there was a noticeable decrease in foot traffic and an increasing trend of customers ordering online, so we decided to make the brand online-only.

We are now taking the business beyond wedding stationery and offering a range of new lifestyle products, including stylish tech accessories and homeware. This expansion has been a long time in the making, and we can't wait to share this next chapter of creativity with you!
